I have always had a passion for pursuing a career within the health and wellness field. Being an active individual for as long as I can remember, I wanted to show others how a healthy and active lifestyle can make a huge impact and difference in people’s lives. I started my education at Grand Valley State University completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. After completing my four years at Grand Valley, I then knew I wanted to continue my education in health and wellness and went on to complete my Master’s Degree at Oakland University in Exercise Science.
During my six years of schooling, I have had many learning experiences and opportunities to provide people with knowledge and background of what it means to be fit and healthy. I was able to have the opportunity of being a part of two internships in cardiac rehabilitation at both Botsford Farmington Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital. I have also conducted a couple of research studies using various fitness assessing and training protocols motivating others to try new ways to be fit. As part-time, I taught many group exercise classes to kids and also martial arts classes as well, which I have been participating in for many years.
After completing my Master’s Degree at Oakland University, I was offered a job to begin my career as a Health and Wellness Lifestyle Specialist at FitBody360. I plan on continuing my education by working towards certifications in fitness and nutrition in the near future. I cannot wait to start this journey inspiring, connecting and motivating people to help them towards achieving their goals!

I am a dedicated husband and father of 3 children. Also a Certified Personal Trainer and weight loss coach specializing in Olympic Lifting, CrossFit, Sports Performance, Team Conditioning, Program Design, Metabolic Testing, and Weight Loss. Fitness has not always been a part of my life, I have had the same struggles as many people.
I was a large 265 lbs in 2006. Maybe heavier. I was a smoker, I wore a size XXL everything and a size 44 waist when I decided enough was enough. So I started making better decisions, eating every few hours, weightlifting 5 days a week, cardio and gave up pop and cigarettes. I would go to the gym at 11 pm sometimes because that is the only time I had available. The pounds came off. I stayed consistent. That is the key.
In one year I lost about 90 lbs. I worked hard and ate smart. It was my obsession. I loved working out and loved the results. I loved helping others lose weight too, so I decided to become a personal trainer. 10 years after I lost the weight… I still struggle with food, every day I struggle with food. But I know weight loss is a long road. Some bumpier than others. It never ends. Always a struggle. That is why I help others so they Never quit and strive to be better Every Day.
Being a part of Fitbody has allowed me to help so many people reach their goals and stay motivated. My goal is a life-changing experience for anyone that comes through our door.
